This image is a view of the beach and seawall in the 1940s. At far left is a partial view of the eastern side of the 21st Street pier, home of the Balinese Room. Note the large rooftop sign advertising the Turf Grill, a downtown Maceo eatery. Just to the right of the sign in this photo is the Buccaneer Hotel and on the far right, the Hotel Galvez.
